Shikakai has been used by Indian women for decades. It deeply cleanses the hair fiber without attacking the scalp. It moisturizes and detangles, leaving a healthy sheen. Ylang Ylang Essential Oil is one of the most well-known oils for hair care, slowing hair loss, stimulating new growth, purifying, and protecting hair.

Our natural solid shampoo is eco-friendly, economical, and practical. Not only does it last longer than a bottle of shampoo, it's made of all natural ingredients which is better for your hair and scalp!

Directions

The solid shampoo may surprise you at first, because of our habit of using liquid shampoo, and yet it couldn’t be simpler! Wet the scalp and hair and solid shampoo bar, then massage your head and hair (no need to press hard) until it lathers. Once you have a good lather, massage with your hands and rinse thoroughly. Store the solid shampoo bar in a dry place.

sodium cocoyl isethionate, disodium laureth sulfosuccinate, acacia concinna fruit (shikakai) powder, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, butyrospermum parkii (shea butter), behentrimonium methosulfate (and) cetyl alcohol (and) butylene glycol, stearic acid, hydrolyzed silk protein, cananga odorata (ylang-ylang) flower oil, glycerin, argania spinosa kernel (argan) oil, simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, tocopherol (vitamin e)

About our shampoo bars

Our solid shampoo uses SCI (fatty acids of coconut oil) as a base, the most gentle and non-irritant active ingredient available, and contains Shea Butter (well known to moisturize, nourish, soften hair and soothe the scalp), Coconut Oil (for density and shine), Vegetable Glycerin (moisturizing agent), Silk Protein (excellent for smoothing and softening), Argon Oil (nourishes and revitalizes the hair and scalp), and Jojoba oil (perfect for any type of hair, it helps rebalance, soften and nourish). We then add Ayurvedic powders, or clay and essential oils.

Finally !!

I've been using shampoo bars for a couple years now and have tried MANY . Some would dry my hair too much , some leave it heavy , some cause irritation etc. I found Wayward Chickadee completely by accident and figured I'd try it out , boy am I glad I did. Absolutely wonderful shampoo and conditioner , smells nice but doesn't linger , cleans without drying out my hair , no static hair , no heaviness and no irritation. My hair feels soft has some body ( haven't seen that in a while ) and finally looks good . Thank you for making such a great product !!!

I am loving this shampoo bar! I have a super oily scalp and because of perimenopause, I'm starting to thin. Based on cleaning out the drain after each shower, I can tell that I'm not losing as much hair. Plus, I'm able to go a day in between washing it. That's amazing, because I've been a daily hair washer for going on 30+ years. Another added bonus is that my hair is softer, to the point even my husband noticed! (I love him dearly, but that man doesn't notice anything! LOL)
Such a great shampoo bar that I will definitely continue to purchase!
