Gently push up from the bottom of the paperboard tube to reveal the balm. Apply directly to your lips as needed for hydration and protection. When you’re done, tap the tube lightly on a hard surface to lower the balm back down. To keep your lip balm fresh, store it in a cool, dry place and avoid leaving it in hot temperatures.

sunflower seed oil

helianthus annus

Sunflower Oil is a natural ingredient, produced from the seeds of the most widespread grain sunflower plant, Helianthus Annuus. Sunflower Oil helps maintain the skin barrier and decrease trans-epidermal water loss. Oleic acid helps deeper penetration of sunflower oil into the skin. Sunflower Oil is an excellent source of beta-carotene, precursor of Vitamin A. In the skin beta –carotene converts into retinol - a powerful antioxidants and skin regenerating agent.

cocoa seed butter

theobroma cacao

Cocoa butter is a natural ingredient derived from the seeds of the cacao tree. Cocoa butter is high in fatty acids and deeply hydrates the skin. It makes an excellent skin moisturizer. Saturated fats are especially beneficial for healing dry, cracked skin because they are easily absorbed and remain on the skin for hours, which helps in restoring moisture. This is very important for lip balms. Cocoa Butter contains compounds called cocoa mass polyphenols. Polyphenols are powerful antioxidants that help diminish signs of aging and soothe skin rashes. They help improve skin elasticity and skin tone.

plant-derived actives

vitamin e

tocopherol

Natural antioxidant that can protect skin cells from free radical damage. It also moisturizes and strengthens the skin barrier.

botanicals

beeswax

cera alba

Refreshing, restorative, and gentle enough for use on even the most sensitive skin, Beeswax is known to soothe itchiness and irritation, to nourish, and to soften dry, cracked, broken areas. While not strictly botanical, beeswax is entirely derived from the metabolic conversion of sugars (honey and nectar), which are themselves entirely plant-derived.
