Switching from liquid to solid shampoo might feel a little unusual at first, but it’s easier than you think!

Wet your hair, scalp, and the shampoo bar thoroughly. Gently glide the bar over wet hair a few times to create a rich, creamy lather. Massage your scalp and hair with your hands, then rinse thoroughly.

After use, allow your shampoo bar to dry completely in a well-drained spot between washes. Keeping it dry will help your bar last longer.

Our solid shampoos are thoughtfully formulated with gentle coconut-derived cleansers and plant-derived conditioning ingredients to cleanse effectively while leaving hair feeling soft, smooth, and manageable.

SCI (Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate) creates a rich, creamy lather and provides gentle yet effective cleansing. Cocamidopropyl Betaine complements the cleansing system and enhances the lather, while BTMS-50 provides conditioning and helps improve softness and manageability.

Mango Butter nourishes and softens the hair, while Hydrolyzed Quinoa Protein and Panthenol help improve the feel of strength, softness, and smoothness. Glycerin, Propanediol, and Inulin complete the formula with additional moisturizing and conditioning benefits.

Each variety is then enriched with its own carefully selected botanical extracts, plant powders, clays, and/or essential oils.

Lovely shampoo!

I love this shampoo bar! It creates rich suds easily and leaves my hair feeling so clean without drying it out. Chickadees are my favorite bird so I love seeing the little chickadee on the bar :)

Sustainable Suds

I love how this shampoo produces a nice thick lather. It is easy to use. My hair feels clean and strong after I use it, and the smell is not overpowering. After shampooing your hair simply smells clean. I highly recommend this shampoo. It feels good and it is good for the planet.

Look no further

I was interested in trying the solid shampoo from an environmental perspective and also because I am planning a backpacking trip and need to keep the pack light. I was not sure which shampoo to try so I wrote to these gentleman and explained that I had naturally wavy/curly , textured hair and I wanted something calming and anti frizz. They promptly gave me two options and after trying the plain and simple shampoo I do not need to look further. I see there is a new conditioner and plan to try this too, although I don't need it per se.... this in and of itself is miraculous! I am so happy to have such a quality company with such great service right here in Maine.

This shampoo bar smells wonderful and also works! It makes my hair feel so soft, yet clean. I am looking forward to a bar conditioner even though you probably don't need any conditioner with this product.

Love this bar!!

It smells good, but not perfumy, just fresh. I love the size (big enough but not too big) and the lather. I use it as shampoo and as soap. Plus, it’s made in Maine and there’s no plastic in the packaging (amen).
